What a fabulous term it has been, with so many exciting opportunities for our pupils to enjoy!
We started the term with a very special letter from Buckingham Palace, replying to the letters our Year 2 pupils had written to His Majesty King Charles III. What an honour!
Our wonderful PTFA kindly donated new equipment for Forest School, while Radway Bridge Garden Centre generously provided seeds, pots and compost. Thanks to their support, our children have been busy enhancing our school grounds.
In reception class, our youngest pupils loved watching the life cycle of caterpillars and investigating how water travels.
Our Year 1 class learned all about where fruit comes from before making some delicious fruit kebabs. Meanwhile, Year 2 pupils developed their sewing skills and created some fabulous, colourful bunting.
Years 2 and 3 took part in an inspiring writing day with author Naomi Joslyn, while Year 3 also enjoyed making their own bread and butter. Year 4 celebrated Sicilian Day by painting tiles, baking Sicilian-style biscuits and enjoying some refreshing homemade 'limoncello' (lemonade!). They have also been investigating the effects of different liquids on our teeth.
Year 5 held a Taskmaster-style maths tournament and had great fun solving mathematical challenges in creative ways.
After completing their gruelling SATs, our Year 6 pupils had a fantastic time on their residential trip to Condover Hall, creating memories that will last a lifetime.
We've also enjoyed our wonderful PTFA Summer Fete and were delighted to welcome a team of volunteers from Cadbury, who kindly helped keep our school grounds looking their very best.
It has been a busy and memorable term, filled with exciting learning experiences, creativity, teamwork and fun. We are incredibly proud of everything our pupils have achieved.
